Kiliya shipbuilding & repair yard has long working experience in shipbuilding and repair works both for national and international shipowners' vessels. For 70 years of existence of the plant, over 1 000 fleet units are built, therefrom during the years of independence 155 ship hulls, 67 barges of SL, SLG, EVRO - TAF, FNG, RTS types, over 1 400 fleet units repaired. The KSRY is certified according to ISO 9001 system. The plant is also certified to welding works under the supervision of Shipping Register of Ukraine, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, Bureau Veritas.
Kiliya shipbuilding & repair yard has modern highly mechanized ship-hull building manufacture at disposal, as well as all the necessary equipment and facilities for repair works of any complexity, which allow to carry out the closed technological cycle with no outside help. The qualified specialists are able to perform tasks in hand in due time and to a good quality.
Kiliya shipbuilding & repair yard has a ship-lifting facility, that is a mechanized slipway with 6 level shipbuilding platforms. Maximum launching weight is over 1100 ton. Overall dimensions of the built vessels are L x B = 110,00 х 16,00 m (also vessels of 135 m in length were built; two halves were launched separately and then joint in dock).
The KSRY is situated on the river Danube, 47 km away from the Black Sea, 2000 km away from the Rhine-Main canal.
Export areas of the plant are: Western Europe, East-Central Europe, Central Asia.
